Library
The Government Model Degree College in Devidhura established its library in 2014, and in 2021, it relocated to a dedicated building, coinciding with the inauguration of a reading room with a seating capacity for approximately 50 students. The library spans a vast 25-hectare area and was established at a cost of 80.3 lakhs.
Initially, the library’s collection consisted of only 150 books, but over time, it has grown to house 4,500 books, all of which are aligned with the college’s graduation syllabus. Each student is eligible to borrow up to three books based on their academic requirements.
Currently, the library efficiently manages the maintenance and distribution of books using a barcode scanner system.
