This Code shall apply to all kinds of conduct of students that occurs on the college premises including in college sponsored activities.
- The individual must maintain regular attendance and achieve a minimum 75% attendance.
- Any action taken within the college campus that could disrupt the academic atmosphere is not allowed and students found guilty of such offenses will face disciplinary action.
- Discriminatory behaviour, whether physical or verbal, based on an individual’s gender, caste, religion, religious beliefs, colour, region, language, disability, or involving sexual harassment or gender identity, is strictly prohibited.
- Intentionally damaging or destroying college property or the property of other students and faculty members will result in severe consequences.
- Failing to produce the college-issued identity card upon request by members of the disciplinary committee or campus security guards is considered a punishable offense.
- Unauthorized possession, carrying, or use of any weapons, ammunition, explosives, fireworks, or any items contrary to the law or college policy is a punishable offense.
- Smoking and spitting on the college campus are strictly prohibited.
- Parking vehicles at the main gate of the college or inside the college campus is not allowed.
- Students are not permitted to provide audio and video recordings of any campus activity to the media without prior permission.
- It is advisable for students to adhere a dress code that include any formal attire or college dress.
- The use of mobile phones in the class rooms is prohibited.
- Ragging is considered a punishable offense.
- Students must not knowingly provide false information or misrepresent themselves to any college office. Furthermore, forgery, alteration, unauthorized possession, or use of college documents, records, or identification instruments, as well as sending forged or fraudulent communications (in paper or electronic mail), are strictly prohibited.
The non-teaching staff should:
- 1) Report for routine duty on time and remain in the campus during the working hours.
- 2) Report for duty on the reopening day and the last working day of each semester, or academic year.
- 3) Append his/her signature on the attendance register while reporting for the duty.
- 4) Always wear the identity card issued while inside the college premises.
- 5) Comply with instructions issued by the administrative head, from time to time.
- 6) Perform the duty assigned consistently.
- 7) Avoid using cell phones during working hours.
- 8) Dress neatly and modestly.
- 9) Be conversant with conversant with the rules and regulations, and the relevant procedures.
- 10) Endeavour towards having a basic working knowledge of the computer.
- 11) Co-operate with the members of other faculty or sections.
- 12) Behave with due dignity and decorum, or even composure with others.
- 13) Be responsive to students inquiring with due concern, and make it worth to ensure all possible help.
